No sound when viewing live stream

I'm new to 1.36 so this might be a dumb question that I can't find an answer for. Recording events records audio with the event and it works fine. But If I watch a camera in real time I don't get sound with it. Is it supposed to be this way? When I was playing around with 1.36 on another computer, before I decided to install it on my server, I thought I was getting sound in the live view, (maybe not, I'm old and don't remember well) lol...... Should I get sound in live view? Same for ZM Ninja, no sound in live view.

At present there is no option for audio in Live view.

There is in 1.37... you can setup a janus server and stream h264... but not very many cameras work and it's not so easy to setup.
