Dear all,

I have changed to version 1.36.25. Some cams do not work, I get following message "4061 ERR Unable to open input rtsp://192.168......" I did not change the string and it works for instance with VLC with the same string. User and password are ok.

The cams are Axis and Foscam

Perhaps somebody can help?

I am not sure which frame rate I had, but the rest ist exactly the same

Do you have any special characters in the password? It can fail with those.

letters and figures as foscam wants

Try different values for Method on the Source tab. Some cameras only do UDP or TCP

I have tried all methods, but it daoes not work. What I do not understand is, that it works with the same string via VLC

Turn on debug logs and lets see if there is more information to be had.

So the no route to host are obvious.

The rest is basically saying that it is taking too long for ffmpeg to figure out what the stream is.

You might try setting the Options feild to probesize=50000
You might also have to adjust Options->System->WATCH_MAX_DELAY larger.

I take it these are older cams? I wouldn't expect the keyframe interval to be too huge, but maybe so...
