Hello,

I want to store the Videos to a different drive /var/usbdrive.
So i added this new location in "Storage" as "ExteranlUSB" with the path /var/usbdrive/zoneminder.
In the Camera settings, under Storage, I select "Stograge Area: ExternalUSB, Save JPEGS: Disabled, Video Writer: Camera Passthrough"

The list of cameras show the Storage: ExternalUSB

But all events still geht stored in "Default"

I Tried deleting and adding cameras - it ist always the same. Sowing "ExternalUSB" everywhere in den GUI, but still writing to Default. And Event lists also show "Storage: Default" in the events.

Any tips why this is not working?

You could look at the logs.
Did you set permissions on the usb drive? www-data if you're on Ubuntu.
Check your spelling, too.

Yes, it was permissions. Sorry for the dump question.

It's easy to miss stuff.
Good luck getting PurgeWhenFull to work on it.
