Foscam VZ4 - copied Foscam C2 config - On the Console page it shows as a black box with "Unable to stream". Setting up Zone is black also. I can Force an alarm and it records but detection doesn't work.

What OS? We're up to 1.37.24 on Ubuntu. It works well for me, although I have no Foscams.
Does it work with VLC?

Correction: mondect NOT working - a Force Alarm does record

The thumbnail in column 1 is black with the text "Unable to stream"
However the thumbnail on the Events list is there.
[edit] I keep thinking of more info: 3 other cams are working just fine.

Says /dev/shm/zm.mmap.8 not there, but it is.

You get video with modect forced alarm, or just the alarm shows?
If just the alarm shows, have you tried UDP? If you're compiling, see if there's new source. .1 is pretty ancient and a lot of changes since.

I bring up the black [Unable to stream] window and click on [Force alarm] - then 1001, 1002 -1030 - [Cancel alarm] everything is normal - hr,day,wk shows count, I can click on the number and get a listing of the alarm and the thumbnail on the right and can click on the timestamp and watch the 30 seconds of my deck.

37 will become 1.38. or maybe 2.0 whenever it's released.

Probably won't help with the camera though. I take it UDP didn't help?

I got the wild hair to reload another machine with ZM - and @&$%&!%&%$*!!! IT WORKS just fine.
