Hello

Well I'm trying to figure out how to setup zmtrigger, so I could use Hikvision motion detection from camera itself.

I have put in nodect function mode my Monitor "Cam1". I have tried to put these files from github to /usr/bin/

But i haven't succeded with setup of trigger.

Is there anyone that has Hikvision Ip cameras with motion decetion enabled and zoneminder as recorder of that events?.

That code hasn't been updated since 2015.... it may not be relevant anymore.

1.37.* has built-in ONVIF/Hikvision event detection.

Okey, never heard before for ONVIF (pretty new to cameras right now, i bought them just because it was really good deal) But I have server at home running 0/24 for 6 years and ZoneMinder is exactly what i was looking for.

Is there some timeline where it's written planned release date of ZoneMinder 1.37?

Thank you, I did as i promise, of course, I'm aware that one donation can't hold whole time and knowladge of this project. I'll make greater donation when ZM 1.37 will be out so i can use motion from my hikvision cameras (that's what I'm waiting for ... since today xD )

1.37 is ‘out’, it’s the current development version. You’ll want 1.38 if you want the features in the stable version.

Is there any tutorial how to upgrade from 1.36.x to 1.37?

I'm running ubuntu 22

For the development version and features like ONVIF, the Slack channel is where most of the activity/dicussion happened. They were takling about moving to Discord, so you might have to look there. (I don't follow either these days)

Hello, I upgraded to 1.37 in order to take advantage of the capability to use the Hikvision on Camera motion detection. Honestly, I can't figure out how to set it up to work. I did see a reference to the slack channel, but I don't see how to get there. I would appreciate a nudge in the right direction to get this working.
