Camera Recommendations

Post by cameratest »

Hello,

I am trying to help out an elderly neighbor who does not have internet in her home. I have a router and pc that I can use to connect a camera to but I am having trouble finding a camera that would be a good fit. Does anyone have any recommendations for an IP camera that would work with zoneminder that is wireless? Is wireless a feasible option or is wired far superior? This will be a temporary installation and I would really like to avoid running any major cords. Any insight would be really appreciated.

Boavision has some halfway decent PT(z not optical) cams, wireless, not battery, low price.
