zma disappeared with 1.36 upgrade

Hi all,
I've recently upgraded my ZoneMinder box from Debian 11 to Debian 12. This has increased the version number to 1.36.33. I have four cameras and am usuing motion detection. There would be four zmc processes and four zma processes. My understanding is that zmc deals with video capture and zma deals with motion detection? Since the upgrade, the four zma processes have disappeared. That said, it's still logging motion events and everything is working as expected. I'm just a little curious as to what happened to the zma processes?
