Using local monitor (on ZM server) for montage display

Post by rossbcan »

Folks

Am considering using zoneminder for small business / store security monitoring. I want the server to locally display (panfrost, hdmi) what is configured /served in montage view (from local image memory)

Is this possible,if not, what am I getting into if I decide to implement?

The point is to eliminate requirements for remote display PC.

Thanks;
Bill

ZoneMinder is a web app. There is nothing stopping you from loading up a browser on the server and viewing the video.

... Performance. Using low performance / memory TV box

browser brings in all sorts of xorg overhead

..hoping I could just access ZM image memory and use for hdmi output
