No. Not unless you saved a backup of the zm database before you upgraded.

But, I need to ask why you want to downgrade?

i've not been able to view events when saved as individual jpeg files
viewing individual files worked in previous releases
i've asked here and got no response
if there is any work on this no one is talking
the usual response is to side step the issue with don't do that or why do you do that

Sorry you have not gotten a response.
Did you upgrade or do a fresh install?
What OS are you using on the ZM server?
MySQL or Mariadb?
What web browser are you using to vies the events? Did you try another web browser?
I'll try to check back here a couple time a day. I have not been very active with ZM lately but if necessary I will try to duplicate your setup to see what works.

I've looked at you other posts. If you are running an old analog capture card the problem may be with the capture card and not Zoneminder. I seem to recall issues with old analog hardware on more recent Linux distros. I can't point to a source, however. Debian 11 may detect the card but not give full function. If you really need the jpeg capture, get another camera. Otherwise just use the video recording and playback that works.

thanks
i downgraded
it sorta worked
so wiped the system and did a fresh install with debian bullseye and zoneminder 1.34
i do have an analog capture card and transposing 9 cameras to mp4 is too much load
it looks like zoneminder has gone all wifi devices and pretty much abandoned the old analog stuf
i'll have to pack it in someday and jump on the band wagon

No, it is not Zoneminder. It is Linux abandoning support for hardware.
