Hello.

First of all, great software, really nice work!

Now the request: Why not create a development mailing list for zoneminder? I mean, it's hard to stay up with all messages in this forum and loggin,reading/posting is a very time-consuming task. I, for example, am subscribed to tons of devel mailing lists (I work as a free software developer making Conectiva Linux) and I have no doubt that a devel mailing list would be wonderful, helping the development of the project and attracting more contributors.

I suggest something like zm-devel@zoneminder.com or even one at sourceforge.net. The topics would be only devel-related (bug-reports, patches and feature-requests), in the same model used by the majority of the free-software projects.

we use to have a mailing list.. i think it still works but in mi oppinion the forum is more efficent since all new users can have a log, seach, and other tings.

the mail was zm@zoneminder.com and i join at v0.9.11 23/3/2003
and the last one was. 28/8/2003
so its a little bit unused.
