I have Axis 2100 cameras which I would like to limit acess to by password. I have set up a password on the root user and added a user called view which also has a password. If it is possible how do I then get zoneminder to access the camera with the username and password.
If not can I suggest it as a feature request. I'm sure it would not be to hard to impliment a username and password field boxes in the camera source configuration window.

You can do this already, though it is not particular obvious I'll admit.

In the Remote Host Name box of the monitor configuration put username:password@hostname instead of just hostname. This will then be passed through as a basic authentication type header. The console display will still only show the hostname part though in case you have users who you don't want to see the login details.
