Can ZM access full DVR/NVR units (mostly Dahua, Hikvision, HiLook, TVT) through DDNS setup to use it a full solution for a remote monitoring station for off-site (active) monitoring?
Most of what I am seeing is individual cameras and domestic needs.

Depending on DVR unit, then yes.

ZoneMinder is used in this way by many commercial and industrial entities. Banks, Schools, manufacturing, etc, etc.
