Hi Victor,

I've seen this before, though a refresh usually gets rid of it. The odd thing is that all of the zms processes are running with the right parameters so all I can think of is that it's a caching or rendering issue with the browser. I've not tried to reproduce it with Mozilla yet so can't be sure but everything at the server end seems to be correct. Can you check whether that is true on your system?

yes, its a fresh install, i have already seem apache's config. all ok.

maybe i need to update java... you said that you have already seemed this ... it was with how many monitors ?.

i think if you put a delay of 1 second for each camera to be showed in montage, it would help...

with 16 monitors things goes wrong. what can i do about ?

Copy&Paste from other thread where I've reported it:
(sorry for the SPAM, I'm not familiar with the forum)
Hello.

I'm having some trouble after updating zm to 1.9.2 (actually, installing from the ground but in the same hardware where 1.9.1 was running) .

I have 4 cams configured as Record, 2fps, using cambozola.

When clicking in the montage view (main console) the montage view is showed correctly, but the "Stills" links are not working properly. What happens:

The first cam I put in Still mode works (turns from cambozola to the stills mode), but I can't put a second cam in this mode. After the first cam change, mozilla starts eating all CPU and if I click in other Still view, I get a mostly frozen mozilla window, totally unusable (and without the still changes... after the first cam is changed to still, none of the others can be changed, the link doesn't change to "stream" and the mozilla window is dead).

BTW, while we're at it, it would be wonderful to have a feature in the montage view:

- Select which cams are displayed (specially useful in multicams setup - I have already 4 and plan to use 12);

I will be glad to provide any more info needed.

Thanks for the great program.
- Ademar

my problem is USING CAMBOZOLA. still mode is right, but VERRY SLLOOOOWWW.

even if i put delay in 1 sec if not streaming, it causes much traffic over network..

it would be nice to see this corrected.

any clue phil ?

maybe you have to optimize the live compresion.. if you have 100 for live picture will cause like 400kps per each camera. 320*240

I don't know if it's related but there is a problem I've found in the stills montage view. Basically in zm_html_view_montagefeed.php there are two references to REFRESH_IMAGE, these should be ZM_WEB_REFRESH_IMAGE. You could try changing that and seeing if it makes a difference.

i have tried, but nothing... all 16 cameras are 240x320, all they at 1 fps.

when renaming REFRESH_IMAGE to ZM_WEB_REFRESH_IMAGE, the still mode just stopped working..

im with 1.19.1. this is much strange.. set quality to 40 and NOTHING HELPS.

any other clue ? :?:

Montage only displays monitors that do not have a function of 'None'. There fore you could try setting half of them to this, and seeing if montage works for those eight, then depending on whether it does or doesn't set another four on or off and so on. You should be able to isolate at what number your problems start to occur and we can investigate further.

If you get problems with only one or two cameras then it's almost certainly something else, which hopefully should be easier to figure.
