https://wiki.zoneminder.com/Debian_12_B ... and_1.37.x
So I followed the guide here untill I got to the line "Old procedure retained for reference"
Google implies that I should see it at 127.0.0.1/zm but that brings up "The requested url was not found on this server".
What am I missing? Im not stuck on debian. This is a vm I just spun up. Ran Zone minder ages ago and wanted to give it a go again.

I will spin up a test machine and run the install to see if there are any bugs.
Stay tuned...

The install worked OK for me. I did not run it on a VM and did not try to access Zoneminder using a loopback (127.0.0.1) IP address.

So started going through the script line by line and you were correct on the a2enconf zoneminder part. It was returning a command not found.
Looking around I found this and used the command
su -
and then ran through and everything worked.
