Good evening, I have just approached the world of Zoneminder and I would like to know how to configure the system so that recordings are deleted or overwritten when they reach a certain size in GBytes.

Look into the "Filters" options.

You can automatically delete videos based on age of recording, and also based on a shortage of diskspace.

There are default filters that manage some of this, but you can add your own and run them in the background.
