Hey all, I'm running 1.36.35 and I just figured out that the feedrate of cameras are jumping 3-4x inbetween fps updates. Example camera was feeding 150kB/s, 550kB/s, 150kB/s , 550kB/s, 540kB/s, 150kB/s.
What can i look into to diagnose this? I tried various settings in Hikvision camera settings nothing worked. I also see that when i change the resolution of the camera this rate is not chaging.
I tried to attach as much information as possible.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Camera Feedrate Jump
I'm not sure there's a problem here.
That transmission rate will vary depending on the compression and changes in the camera field.
However, I think it might be better to set the I frame interval to a multiple of the frame rate, say 16.
Also, it's said that it's best to leave the colorspace at 32 as the decoding is optimized for 32.

Thanks for the suggestions, i will update iframes and colorspaces on your suggestion.
The image coming from the camera was static. These are indoor cameras looking at a storage area.
I find it weird to have same static image delivered at 150kB/s for 10 seconds and 550kB/s for 20 seconds and so on.

What is reporting that?image delivered at 150kB/s for 10 seconds and 550kB/s for 20 seconds
Re: Camera Feedrate Jump
What is the keyframe interval? The key frame is a complete picture, the following frames are changes to the key frame. In a static image the key frame will be much larger than the following frames.
I have my key frame interval set to 1 sec.

It was 15 and the cameras were set to 8fps at the device. Too frequent i think compared to what i see.
