Hello everyone...

First off all, you develop a very good product, I installed them and it's amazing.
Second, sorry for my English, I know that it is terrible. I am Brazilian and here we speak portuguese.

My camera works fine, but appears a black bar in the middle of image, like the camera "rotate" the image in the screen. Like a TV with bad antenna.

I think this is a v4l problem, but I don't find answer in google or other place. So, I came here to see if anyone has a solution to my problem.

I had similar images in xawtv when my NTSC cameras were set for PAL, although the corruption was at the top instead of the bottom.

this is normal in bt878 cards.

check if the norm "signal" are ok? trie in 3 or 1.. most cameras are 3 or 1.
iam shure is that.

check the cable maybe to long coaxil rg59 can have a 150meters long with normal cameras. check the conectors.

I take a look at the bttv documentation, and I don't find anything about norm setting. How I supposed to do that?

I am very, VERY stupid. I found this configuration at the zoneminder device config, and everything works as expected.

I am from Santos, I work in São Paulo(Interlagos) and the zoneminder is to control the turns of the employees online. The business is 24/7 and we need to see what they do at night.
