Strange problem with montage

hi all

Im running a system with 8 cameras capturing at 4 fps each.

When i open montage in firefox, the window takes a very long time to load, if i disable 4 cameras i can see the other 4 cameras at 4 fps very fast.

adding more 1 camera - boom, things break again

i think firefox doesnt actually support many frames at more than 1 fps using native jpeg streaming..

Anyone know a fix ?

does anyone have seen this before ?

thanks all

Since FireFox is basically the browser component of Mozilla, try the settings changes that are in the thread I created a while back.

Thanks Ruler

my "broken image" problem have gone away.

The only issue is that firefox doesnt allow you to change that values in its GUI, so you need to do :

type about:config
search for browser.cache.check_doc_frequency.
change its value to 1 (means everytime)

thats it.

there goes a list of possible values:

0: Check the cached page is current once per browser session
1: Check every time I view the page
2: Never check (always use cached page)
3 (default): Check when the page is out of date (automatically determined)

thanks, i will see if this fix the fps problem too
