Can zmtrigger work with modect? My ultimate goal is to trigger via network from a Windows Home automation machine. However, I want it to do modect when triggered. Is this possible?

zmtrigeer can work with any mode that allows events to be generted. So if you had it in modect you could get both motion detection events and externally triggered events. I don't quite udnerstand when you say you want it to do 'modect when triggered' though, can you explain further?

My intentions were to use zmtrigger in place of X10.
I wanted to start modect (zma) only when triggered by zmtrigger.pl

Right now, I have a dedicated home automation computer with a CM11A. MY zoneminder PC also has a CM11A connected to receive from the automation PC. MY intentions were to remotely execute zmtrigger.pl from the home automation PC, eliminating the need for the X10 interface o nthe zoneminder PC.
