Cycle feature doesn't work

Post by SyRenity »

Hello.

The "Cycle" feature doesn't functions as it did in the 1.19 version, from Ross BootCD. After the first camera from the list shows up, it freezes after a couple of seconds, and no camera change occurs as well.

You don't say which version you are running but my 1.20.1 copy runs fine in cycle mode. You might need to supply a bit more detail.

Hello Phil.

Yep, you right. Here are the details:

ZM 1.20.1, installed from Cordel's latest RPM
Fedora Core 3, after up2date

I tried it on 2 workstations, on one with IE and Firefox, and on the other with IE only.

Both stations are XP Pro SP2, Firefox is the latest, 1 release.

It seems that it freezes when it tries to cycle the cameras.

All it does is refresh the window with a new monitor id so I don't think there's anything clever involved in the cycle view. Does it lock up in stills mode as well? Can you check that all zm processes are running ok, look in /var/log/messages and make sure you have no zombies with ps.

Checked....
Yep it freezes if you select html for refreashing. If you select Java it does not and works fine.
I'll look at it this weekend.
