Sorry if this question is answered elsewhere - I just couldn't find it.
Can someone tell me what the different colors mean on the ZM Console? I have two cameras set up and only one of them is recording alams.
1. Porch Modect /dev/video0 (0) 0 0 0 0 0 0 1
2. WestSide Modect /dev/video0 (1) 15 0 15 15 150 1
On both 1 & 2 the function (modect) are green but on #1 the font is in italics.
Under souce on #1 the "/dev/video0" is orange and on # 2 it is green.
Only #2 is recording events. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Matt

The italics is the key. I suspect you have set up that monitor as 'triggered' in which case it is waiting for something to tell it to start. Edit the monitor and change the run mode to continuous.
Generally red is bad, for the source it would mean that it can't capture images, for the function it means you have switched it off! Orange/amber basically mean that the monitor is acquiring images but not doing anything else with them whilst green means that both capture and analysis/recording are working correctly. If both monitor and source are the same colour it is usually not indicative of an error.
