Hi all!
I am using ZoneMinder 1.20.1, and it works well for me.
My problem is, that i got a outdoor camera, that produces an image that is fliped horzontaly. So i would like to flip the image back before putting the timestamp or do any analysing. Is there a way to do this? I think it has to be done in the zm capture daemon.
Can anybody help me?

That setting is is under the source tab for the camera configuration labeled Orientation.

No no, from this settings in know, but in there you can turn the picture 90 degrees to the right and to the left, and also invert, this turns the picture 180 degrees. But what i need is really to flip the pictre from the left to the right side. My camera gives a mirrored picture.
Again Tanx to you all

Currently you can't do this. However technically there is no reason why not so I've added it to the roadmap. I don't think it will get into the next release as I've finished that now (apart from the docs) but it should make it into the next one.

By the way, how come you have a mirror image from your cam? Is that permanent?

First of all, thx for the Info.
I got my camera from Internet, and there it was presented as Backwards driving Camera for the Car. So i guess thats why it has a fliped Image. However, the camera serves for what i need it. It is outdoor proved, it is resistant from -20 to +50 degrees Celsius. And it has IR-Lights for Nightvision. The only negative point is the flipped Image.

Ah well. That makes sense and might be something other people encounter so it will definately be added, probably in the next but one version.

Hi Phil. This is something we'd appreciate,. We're running a Philips PCVC730k using pwc drivers and this gives a mirrored image with no apparent means in the driver of flipping it.

You'll be pleased to know that this has been done and is included in the next release. Hopefully this is only a matter of days away now.

I guess this means I should put the build machine back together eh?
I'll have it ready for rpms on both FC2 and FC3
