If I try and use Cambozola (I'm forcing it for everyone at the moment for testing), I get this error messages when it tries to load...
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.charliemouse.cambozola.Viewer
This is using zm 1.20.1 and the cambozola.jar that is available on the zm downloads page.
What do I need to do to remedy this?

The file needs to be in the root for zm or one of it's subfolders. Then the path info needs to be set in options - tools. It should already be set to the root by just pointing to cambozola.jar and if you want to place it in a folder under root then would be something like /java/cambozola.jar.

That took care of it. I was thinking that cambozola needed to be installed in relation to the zm apps.
Now, is there any way of speeding the video up that cambozola is streaming?
Has anyone thought about using Darwin Streaming Server to stream the data? It is open source (although not GPL compatible). It should be able to stream the data without modifying the DSS code as DSS is used by web servers for streaming. It also supports streaming MPEG4 natively.

That's all in the configuration tabs for High, Medium, and Low B/W (bandwidth).
As far as the streaming server it might be interesting to have as an option but zms is authinticated aganst so there are no streams without authintacation allowed (If you have Requires Authintication option checked) and it any runs when needed.

Hi there,
I'm a bit struggling myself with the Cambozola solution.
Some time ago i did not have my Cambozola (correctly) setup, so locally i only used streaming MPEG. I have some drivers installed for streaming MPEG so i did not need / want Cambozola.
Recently some friends reported some problems with viewing the camera's from my birds project. I checked, and indeed, browsers without native support for MPEG did only show frozen MPEG or a black screen all together. I then discovered that my pathname for Cambozola was incorrect. I set it up the correct way and my friends were helped with the Cambozola solution. I entered 0.2 to refresh non-streamed images and gave them this way 5 frames per second, sort of. Works fine...
But after that time i cannot get any MPEG streaming whatsoever. I got it on auto detection, got Cambozola rigged up, have MPEG streaming on local browser, but sill....... no more streaming MPEG.
Ideas, anybody?
Ed.

If you turn mpeg off, cambozola will work. Currently it's one or the other. I have been meaning to go in and set an option so that both could be used dependant on the browser but haven't gotten around to it yet.
BTW, Awsome idea to put your spec's as part of your signature. Kudos
