Hi,
I tried to compile zoneminder, but got error like 'zm requires libjpeg.a', but can't find this in my mandrake 10.01, how to install the libjpeg.a in mandrake 10.01? please help, thanks.

Install the libjpeg rpm should fix it.

can you give me the rpm file name to look for? thans

It would probably be some thing like:
libjpeg-<version>-mdk.i586.rpm
or
libjpeg-devel-<version>-mdk.i586.rpm
You are probably looking for the later of the two.
