Thanks to Ross the LiveCD version of ZoneMinder 1.21.0 is now available from the Downloads section of the site.

Please note this is a large download of around 560Mb so don't expect it to complete quickly. I've now taken on a new server to handle downloads so if you find the LiveCD useful please feel free to donate to Ross or via the regular Donations page to help cover costs. I'll leave Ross to add to this thread to describe any special instructions for this version or to advise on the address to use when donating to him.

Users of previous ZMliveCD versions will find that everything looks pretty familiar. The main changes from version 1.19.5 are:
Built on Mandrake 10.1 official version
Better hardware support, including several additional usb wecam drivers and support for SATA harddrives.
All security updates available at release time applied.
Mozilla-Firefox 1.0.2
ZoneMinder is installed as an RPM package for future upgrade convenience.

Development tools and libraries, and kernel source have been omitted. For those who need them, installation via the Mandrake package tools is preconfigured.

Users may be interested to know that mpeg streaming from ZM works very well with the Konqueror browser.

I hope to be able to support this release with RPM updates for some time.

Any donations can be sent via PayPal to rdmelin at elltel dot net. Especially apreciated is any hardware such as network or usb cameras, capture cards, X10 devices etc, which will allow me to more completely test, and thus support the ZMliveCD distro.

I download but not work ask me for a user and a password
is avalaible in any part.

And in any part is avalaible the zm rpm for fedora core 4 or for linux mandiva (Mandrake 10.2 the free version)
