I was wondering if ZM write the camera stream to two different paths?
Like /home/zm/stream and /mnt/network/somewhereelse

Consider this situation: someone breaks into the house and steals ZoneMinder PC.
The whole concept of ZM is suddenly gone :)

If it was possible to save the stream locally (to /home/zm/stream), and somewhere else (to /mnt/network/somewhereelse) at the same time (using shfs, nfs, smbfs, ftpfs etc.) it would be really nice to prevent such thefts/fires/floods etc.

Is it possible with ZM?

You will find allot of feachers detailed in the readme and post here on the forum. It might be possiable to have zm log to two differant paths but it does not.
There is a feature that will upload evets to a remote server and to emial events :)

I would install another ZM at "/mnt/network/somewhereelse" and use IP cameras.

Phil is not charging a license per server as Micro$oft does.
