Hi Guys,

I am looking at importing the Spectra8. What bothers me about the card is that the web site states that you can record on 8 ports @ 15fps, but it may require some work using the SDK.

Has anyone got all 8 ports working in the Spectra8? Due to my country's exchange rate, I cannot afford to be purchasing too many of these cards so it would be better for me to be able to run all 8 ports at once.

I have a Spectra8 with the daughter board (though I am not using it at present) and have also imported several and sold them on. In my experience you can use all 8 ports with no problem but I think you'd probably get nearer 10fps on any ports that are shared rather than the 15fps they state.
