mpeg stream

When trying to stream live events with asf inside firefox the stream shows a blank image.

It appears the wmp plugin is trying to open

http://cgi-bin/zms?mode=mpeg&monitor=1& ... ss=REMOVED

It is not pointing to the server web server.

In Internet Explorer it works ok, but the image doesn't get updated. Only if i refresh the window.

http://10.10.118.250/cgi-bin/zms?mode=m ... ss=REMOVED

If i open the stream directly with WMP without using the browser it opens the first image and then keeps buffering.. it says buffering 4%, buffering 25% and then goes back to buffering 2%, ... Without updating the image.

Is there any other alternative to stream the feed and to view the stream in the browser without using windows media player? Other player? I would like to stream divx or xvid format..

Can't you just use the JPEG iso MPEG.

that will solve your problem, but I don't know if you want that.

btw, also check your ZM_URL and ZM_PATH_ZMS

I'll check the source and see if the hostname is being missed out of the path. Browsers don't have a problem with this but maybe WMP is getting confused.
