How connect Serial Dom Cameras?

Hi all i have connected my dom cameras with serial converter rs232/rs485 but after the first command no other command are accepted from cameras until i move it with her keyboard.
Some suggest?

I have to answare myself
On ASUS with 1 serial port the Perl::SerialPort doesn't work well so i have wrote my prog in C and all work fine. I don't undastand the cause if someone have 1 idea....

I can't use Perl::SerialPort with my ASUS and i don't undestand the cause. I have wrote the same program in C and all wok well. You have wrote in Perl your PTZ stuff so i don't know if is intresting for you. Give me some hint...
