I think that Pelco and maybe samsung are currently supported. I know Axis is since thats what Phil uses. It's a new feature to ZM. I personaly haven't got to play with it yet as I don't have any PTZ cameras. I understand that it's not difficult to make it support another protocal if you have access to the specs.

For PTZ cameras currently 1.21.0 ships with support for Pelco-D, Sony VISCA and Panasonic netcam PTZ. Since then I've also done Axis which appears to work and a (currently untested) Pelco-P. I'm happy to add more protocols if anyone gets me the specs as finding the definitions of the protocols is usually the hardest part.

Hi Phil.

I didn't have the chance to check, but does ZM PTZ control work with HTTP PTZ control, meaning the PTZ commands sent via HTTP URL's?

Yes. The Axis and Panasonic protocols are both http based. If you have a camera that uses something else you can use zmcontrol-kxhcm10.pl as an example and modify it, it should be fairly obvious in most cases. If you do add any other protocols I'd very much like to add them to the main distro so please mail any new ones back to me.
