zmaudit deleted events in "record" mode

Hi folks,

zmaudit seems to be deleting some of my events with the camera in "record" mode (section length 600s = 10min) - roughly 1 in 10 events are missing.

I changed MIN_AGE to 900 (15min) as per http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewto ... me+records , but it still happens.

Found this in zmaudit.log:

Database event '3/8074' does not exist in filesystem, deleting
...
Filesystem event '3/8074' does not exist in database, deleting
Found orphaned frame records for event '8074', deleting

So it seems zmaudit can't find the event on the filesystem first, so it deletes the database record. Then later the filesystem event is created, and then zmaudit deletes that because the database record is gone. Weird.

Could this be a weird filesystem thing? My filesystem is "reiserfs (rw,noatime)" on kernel 2.4.29. I'm running ZM v1.21.0.

Any help would be appreciated.

There have been a couple of reports of this kind of thing happening as you have found. So far I've not been able to determine enough of a pattern to figure out definitively why. Any additional data points you can add from your experience would be useful.

Hi Phil,

It's definitely better now that I changed 300 to 900. I will keep watching and give you more info when I see anything.
