hello there!
sorry for my bad english but i wasn`t treated to speak it for a long time ive got the following prob:
i`ve installed zm from the livecd v. 1.21.0 and installed one QuickCam Express. It worked very fine but: the quality of the pics was so frustrating otherwise me was so fascinated from zm and the whole unix stuff that I bought two more Cams today. (2 Quickcam Pro 4000)
So I plugged in the new Cams, and? Nothing happened. The cams are not mentioned in the ZM Console and so I deleted also the QuickCam Express. In Mandrake ControlCenter there are all three mentioned and installed but: HOW CAN I BRING THEM ALL TOGEHTHER WITH ZM?
I`m very frustrated of this, now there is no cam working and I don`t know how to install them in zm.
Can anyone help me? Sorry if this is a dumb-noob question, but I haven`t found anything in the Readme about that.
BR
Scoot
zm and 3 logitech cams
also one of them doesn`t work at all: in xaw I can see a little live picture but it's very small and I'm only able to see ist with some "noise" around the image, colourful noise
maybe this will help you to help me:

Anyone who has a brilliant idea what preferences I have to give to the ZM Console?
Hi Scoot,
You should be able to find the devices will be video0 to video2. If you do a dmesg in the console you should be able to find it if the camera initialized. I never had much luck with web cams so I bought a capture card with a bt878a chip on it. A majority if not all capture cards with that chip are supported by the linux kernel. It's also the same way with web cams, depending on the chipset they use, but not always as easy to know what chips are used since the inclosure hides the chip.
Now what video sizes, and colour can be displayed is dependant on what the camera supports. If you set something outside of what the camera is capable of in ZM, it will not work.
Regards,
Cordel

Can anyone help me how to install these pcwx drivers? I am a unix noob :<
