I just built it so no promisses
1.21.1-1 rpm
For Fedora Core 3
ftp://download.computerntelecom.com/pub ... 3/testing/
I have to try to get some sleep before work so in 18 hours (assume I'll be working 15 hours) I'll be able to test for my self. I will let it run for at least a week before placing it in the updates folder so you will not be able to YUM the file till that time.
And always remember to backup your database and events you want to keep
Please PM me if there are any issues.
Regards,
Cordel

Okay,
Install was bad, found and corrected the problem and rebuilt the package (see I should have gotton some sleep before playing)
New package Installs and upgrades the database and all appears to be functioning.
New package zm-1.21.1-2
WOW, Phil, I like it. To bad we could not get my modifications in there since thats the code I botched on the first build (Go Figure, I'm on a role there I tell ya what. LOL).
I like the new features. I'll have to rethink my exporting project a little now (I have less work to do
).
For those of you whom have set up the YUM ctu-updates, Once I move the file to the updates directory all you have to do is in the console type
yum update
and
for those whom have yum running as a service, yum will automaticaly download and update the package the first evening after I load it into the server.
UPDATE
For some reason zmfilter is not removing files even though I have it set to do so.
To compund the problem zmaudit is not removeing files either.
This results in zmfilter removing all the records from the database becuase I have the purge when full filter set. every 600 seconds (what I have the filter set to run) 50 records are removed (also something I have set) over 12 hours = 3600 records deleted. but I still have the jpegs.
Cheers,
Cordel

No it will not work on mandrake but...
I am sending the the sorce rpm to Ross whom will build it for Mandrake once I have tested out the package I made to work out any bugs that may have been introduced by myself to make it so it could be packaged.
I expect a week or so

James,
You might want to relook at the yuk server post.
It was a bit of a mess when you seen it as things were changing at that time. I've cleaned it up so that it's easier to follow with the more advanced stuff in a note on the end.

ahhh
Looks like some thing broke with both zmfilter and zm audit. You could lose your database files as neither is removing the jpegs but zmfilter is still good at removing the records if you have the purgewhenfull filter set
Let ya know if I can work it out.
zoneminder rpm work with fedora core4?

cordel, can you please also upload the src.rpm somewhere?
I want to test the ZM package on FC4. If I had the src.rpm I could try to just rebuild it on my system and see how it goes. I'll give feedback on the results, of course.

FC4 RPM is already built and being tested
You should be able to down load it off the server in the next couple days.
I usually don't create a src.rpm and espeacialy till all the bugs are worked out I don't bother.
