MPEG streaming problem

Have just installed ZM from LiveCD and upgraded it to 1.2.2.

The things work fine, but when I try to switch the streaming mode from JPEG to MPEG it is not working. The URL for the stream becomes:

http://localhost/cgi-bin/nph-zms?mode=m ... format=asf

which I assume correct, and when I try to open it in the local browser it just shows an empty page with 'nph-zms' and the following error with 'zms':

[error] [client localhost] Premature end of script headers: zms


On my Slackware based installation MPEG streaming seems to work OK.
No other errors found in the log files.

What could be wrong there?

Can you run zms on the command with the parameters you have listed in the QUERY_STRING environment variable?

You might get a bit more information trying that.
