This sounds like fun. Let me now if you need anything special in the RPM to support it. I don't think you will but just in case the offer is there.

This is an interesting variation. I'm sure we'd all like to hear how you get on!

Awesome Craig, Looks really good. You could try an IP cam or if you wish you can stream from my ZM box a couple of cameras just to have something capturing just please be gentle on the fps as I only have 256kb up and this is the same bandwidth as the YUM, ftp, and web server. The user and pass are guest. http://cordel.no-ip.info:8080 Just let me know so I can shut down the remote that I have capturing now at 0.5 fps to reduce the load on my upload.
Phil this would be a nice item to show case some how. My only concern is how hot the xbox can get and I hope you got the new power cord to replace the one that catchs on fire
Cheers,
Cordel

Just an idea that may or may not work is to grab an external IDE->USB drive enclosure to slap your bigger drive into. I believe that it shows up as just another USB mass storage device, similar to a thumb drive, and mounted as /dev/sdan. It'd eliminate the $55 mod chip from the parts list, be more flexible, and only cost $15. :)

I've tried to get that driver working at home a few times for a USB camera, but never have gotten it to compile.

Hi Craig,
Sorry I haven't forgotten about you, Work it running me 12+ hours a day now. I'll try putting that kernel together in the next couple days.
