asf media player for ppc

Post by jameswilson »

Anyone know of a ppc player for asf files. Obviously MS media player 10 for ppc doesnt know what a ms asf file is. I have tried beta player which has a wonderful full screen option but only loads then stops (ie it dont stream) I am also seeking a decent windows version too but ppc mainly

Cheers James

EDIT**
Solved betaplay (tcpmp) works great. I currently have my dell axim x30 over my wifi streaming live mpeg from work. Will so how reliable it is and post back

Regards James

worked sort of but had he lag issue. If you download the player and install and manually type in the path you want it will play most of the time

OK, TA, the web interface sort of works in PIE but doesnt seem to refresh (just a still image) from what I noticed...

Wireless on BSPlayer might be useful for setting up cameras :)

im currently sort of working on a ppc version of zm4ms, i have a working example but it needs a bit of work yet. It will do the same as zm4ms as in grabbing jpeg stills and autorefreshing, but on single cams the device can do 2 fps (assuming wifi lol). When its ready ill roll it out but it will be a few weeks yet
