Hello.

I ran the livecd and it recognised the USB framegrabber and up came the picture - great

When I installed it, all I see is a broken image.

The logs at /var/log/zm/zmdc.log show :-

Starting pending process, zmc -d 0

what changed between the livecd and the install and how do I fix this.

Can you post the output of "dmesg" and also any errors you see in /var/log/syslog.
