Newbie Question

Yeah I went threw the whole install, had to download all the devl rpms for each needed runtime rpm (might want to add the detail to the install doc). Got the database setup and make install 100%. Now............ How do I use it??:roll: Looks like everything is PHP so how do I log in and actually set up everything?
I just did a google for video motion detection/recording and this tool came up I didnt look into how to actually use it

I assumed the doc would be a little more thorough

I think I know what I am soposed to do zmu right...?
I try the following but get this error:
root@devnull:/usr/local/bin>./zmu -d /dev/nvidia0 -q -v
Error, failed to open video device: No such file or directory

lspci shows the following:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV18 [GeForce4 MX 440 AGP 8x] (rev c1)
And you can see the device:
root@devnull:/usr/local/bin>ls -l /dev/nvidia0
crw------- 1 tony root 195, 0 Aug 23 20:22 /dev/nvidia0

The card has a video in but I wanted to test with just a USB webcam before I rewire my current video equipment. Any ideas what the problem could be when I run zmu?

I'm glad you got it working. The README in the distro (and on this site) contains a tutorial which should help you get started, though it seems you didn't need it in the end!

Is anybody building an FC4 X86_64 RPM? If not I can it it done pretty quickly, now that I know what to do

Yes there is, once it is finnish testing it will be available. Just has to be tested with a capture card at this point and it will be available for download.
