My System:

zm Version: 1.21.3-3(/var/lib/apt/lists/www.spic.net_zoneminder_debian_._Packages)
nothing errors in the log files!
I have search in the forum, but nothing helps me!
I mine that the problem is a incorrect pfad of ffmpeg by live streaming.

Thank Phil for your interest on my problem.
I am using mpeg for live streaming.
I have read in this forum, that you say that the methode to generate live stream and event, are diferent! Live Straming use the binary files of ffmpeg and event streaming use the api of ffmpeg or differently.
My assumption is, that the Debian Packes has wrong paths to ffmpeg!
Which i can change the debug level of Zoneminder?
Which file calls ffmpeg to generate the live stream?
The second problem is, when i change in the live stream from stream to images. The image is brocken, and nothing will displayed. The Images in Events works great.
To my System:
the client use Firefox 1.0.6
greeting

Both live streaming and event streaming use the API so there should be no difference there. The only different method is when you generate a video file from an event for download in which case ffmpeg is used. If you can view replayed events directly in the web gui and not live streams that is very strange. What settings do you have in Options->Video?
To view still images you should be able to just click on the 'Stills' link in any viewing window.
