restrictions

Could you add a control permision top the user options. ie most users wouldnt be allowed to move them but certain could.

Currently I think this is in the monitor permissions. The basis for this is that you can totally screw up the monitoring capability by both editing monitors and by pointing the camera off to the wrong place. I have toyed with the idea on control permissions previously but didn't think there was a need. If I can be convinced otherwise maybe I'll put them in.

Sorry Phil i dont understand. You say it can be disabled i assume this is via monitor and edit. If a use has edit rights to the monitor though they could change evrything about the monitor? Not good for normal users. When i use one for real in the field I need to be able to ensure users cant make any config changes cos if they can they will and ill have to give a free call out to repair it. What i was hoping for was a way for cetrtain users to be able to control the camera and others just to be able to view it
