Wierd recording error

I have CTU zm running on a box and i have a strange issue.
The machine has 2 4 way single chip cards
card 1 has 1 input limited to 2 fps
card 2 has 2 inputs both limited to 2 fps
All set to mocord 600 secs section
All is ok for a while but every so often it appears that input 1 stops recording
No errors etc.
If i restartt zm the event appears but its massive ie 2 hours of section not 10 mins
Now the only thing that is strange is if i set input 1 to record its fine but if i selct mocord it starts again
I have deleted and created a new monitor smae applies
I have created 2 monitors of 1 input same applies
If i truy to live stream i just get combozala letters in window no images
if i select stills i get a still image from hours ago
The only thing i can think of is that its a dodgy bnc but then it wouldnt work after a restart.
Also the camera is a dome on constant patrol so its contantly in alarm.
Any ideas experts???

After a restart all is ok (restart zm from console) streams are ok etc but if i try to view the massive event i get page not found errors but in the event view it has like 13000 frames and 110000 alarm framesThumbnails are there and event will play back (stream) but stops 2 mins into playback
