The xAP features I could see as beneficial:

- The ability to trigger motion Detection by sending an xAP message to Zoneminder.

- The ability to force an alarm by sending an xAP message to Zoneminder.

-The ability to Change modes. (Modect, Mocord, etc)

-Have Zoneminder send an xAP message when motion detected, event created.

-Have Zoneminder send an xAP message with the URL of the Last event? Last 5-10 events?

-Turn on/off email notifications via xAP message.

Many more possibilities.

This xAP what if you had an industry standard (security) way of doing this?
Does it need to be xAP or would anything that gave that functionality

IE
504 alarm inputs to zm
256 alrm outputs

combinations of the above
LCD display of certain items over 485 ie disk full, camera 4 fail
IP and PSTN and ISDN signallinf to cs etc etc

Pretty limitless really if you tell what your trying to achieve ill see if it fits in with my plans.
I plan to integrate something into zm so the above can happen.

xAP is on the radar (as is xPL). The main issue is that I dont have anything that I can interface with xAP to try is all out. Is there anything you can recommend that would make this easy?
