I just built a dedicated ZM box. I am running Red Hat 7.1 and ZM 1.21.4 source. When I try to run ./configure to set up the mysql db, or zminit, it always says access denied due to incorrect password. It is trying to use YES as the password even though zm.conf and zmconfig.txt both show the user/pass that I put in.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

i think you need the root password for the db here
