WHen moving from 0.4.8 to 0.4.9 is there any difference in the command line used to generate videos from stills. If i use 0.4.9 it fails with an incorrect colour header, but the same command works 0.4.8 but doesnt play properly.

Yes, the input systax has changed a bit since 0.4.8 to current CVS.
I have yet to check what but you could check there mailing list or the suppied docs might have some notes.

The input syntax changes all the time, as does the effects of syntax which stays the same. It can be very much a hit an miss affair I'm afraid unless you folow it closely (which I don't!).

whats the command you use or are you using the api to control ffmpeg?
