Sorry I guess I wasnt clear enough, I am using the live view of the cameras which works on jpg but not mpeg... but if I turn on mpeg I can see previous events but only one frame of live video (or so it appears)

Try increasing the bandwidth and/or bit rate?

I do sometime get an issue though where this happens to one camera. If I go to a different PC it is fine and if I try with a different monitor it is fine. It usually even works on the problem one the next day.
