Connecting to the camera

Hi

I have problem with conecting to the camras...I have D-link OWL900 camera and Edimax camera and I conection doesnt work...I get the picture as there were no picture ( small x in the left corner ).

For example:

I have camera on IP 192.168.1.21 and have users ppp pass xxx

I conect like
ppp:xxx@192.168.1.21

and I get nothing...
Video cameras conected to the TVCard works good...
How to solve the problem....
I have Debian Linux on the server....what to do to work it stable and good...??
