zm randomly stops

Zoneminder keeps stopping at random times.

The only clue as to why is the following line in /var/log/zm/zmdc.log:

Can't select: Broken pipe at /usr/lib/zm/bin/zmdc.pl line 593.

What's causing this? It works fine after restarting the zm service...

I have been running now for a couple of days with network cameras at home and off the net to test it... no issues here at the moment.

Jim,

Are you sure you are running 1.22.0? That line doesn't correspond to anything for me.

There was an issue I found a little while ago to do with the processes getting restarted in the interrupt handler but that only seems to show up in very busy systems and in versions 1.21.4 and below.

Whoops, sorry Phil. I'd just recently upgraded to [what was] the "latest" version, but didn't pay enough attention to the actual version numbers...

Sounds like you've fixed this in 1.22 then?
