IR Passthru filters

Post by Geo99M6Z »

I was wondering if anybody knows where I can get an IR Pass thru filter that I can put overtop of my cameras.

I want to get rid of shadows on the cameras as seen below.

Does anyone know if I can buy such a filter?

Thanks

you can but i wont help. IR pass will block all visible light only allowing ir through. IR is still light and a big source of IR light is the sun, as the sun is causing you shadows, you will still have shadows with or without filters. You could pop down a local photographic shop and see if they have a cheap filter you could buy for testing purposes. If you rreally want one if you let me know the size and format of your lens ring i will see what i can find out. Although its a bit specilist, i think ive only ever used them twice, and that was for anpr work
