Hi.
I have seen that this value was changed in the 1.22 version. What are the benefits which can be expected from it - more longer events, and less the shorter ones?

Yes, the reference image that each frame is compared with will change more slower and so things that move into the image will not be absorbed into the reference image so quickly, and so will stand out for longer.
Be aware that it is just the default for new monitors that has changed. Any you have already set up will retain their existing values and you will have to change them manually, if you so desire.
