I'm using ZM with 2 camera's with the Spectra8. 24/7 in modect. ( Mandriva 2006) After a while my memory (1GB) is full. The swap is full and ofcourse my system is very slow.

What is the problem.??

r, Firefox still has that garbage collection issue and seems to need regular restarts to prune it's ram usage down.

I don't know of a way to clean swap - not sure that's a prudent path to take. Might be a better route to create more swap space, either partition or file - but again, need some info of what's going on when the problem occurs.

(I'm not a guru, the above could be wrong)

Are you trying to display the montage for extended periods?

Hi,
I'm still waiting but the problems seems to be solved since I use mozilla in stead off Firefox.
For the most of the time I'm using the linux-pc as a server and I do view the montage view on a Xp computer. Not for a long time. Maximum for one hour.
I will inform you.
Thanks a lot.
Ben
